Messi again. The Best FIFA Men’s Player Award goes to the Argentinian captain

Paris (France): Argentina’s Lionel Messi has been selected for the “FIFA The Best” award for the best male football player of the last year. Messi trailed French stars Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema in the poll. In the last World Cup and in the French league, PSG. Messi deserves the award for his excellent performance in making the league champions.

Argentina won the World Cup thanks to Messi’s brilliant performance. Messi scored 7 goals including a double in the final. He scored 16 goals in 27 games for French club PSG. PSG’s performance includes a hat-trick in the World Cup final. Kylian Mbappe has made it to the final round of the award. Benzema’s performance for the Spanish club Real Madrid brought him to the final round.

This is the second time Messi has won the “FIFA The Best” award. Cristiano Ronaldo and Poland’s Robert Lewandowski are the two players who have won the “FIFA The Best” award twice. Cristiano Ronaldo won the first two years (2016 and 2017) of FIFA’s award that started in 2016.
